To spend time in Jacqueline Sullivan’s world is to learn the meaning of creative care. When I first stumbled upon the show “In Praise of Shadows,” I knew there was more I wanted to learn about Sullivan. In 2025, I had the pleasure of interviewing her for TOAST ahead of the opening of “The Loving Cup” (which remains a personal favorite). But with each exhibit, I return to JSG eagerly, knowing I’ll walk away feeling inspired to make something with my hands and heart.
