Not sure if this counts as “non-medicine” but acupuncture mostly cured my migraines 8 years ago. Prior to acupuncture I was on a very potent and body-wrecking combo of topiramate, rizatriptan, trazadone, and anti-nausea pills to manage 4+ migraines per month. Now I may get 2-3 per year. Anytime I get a headache now that requires me to take Aleve, I schedule a follow-up visit with my acupuncturist and it whips my brain into shape for another 5-6 months.

I found my acupuncturist a long time ago now, but I think I just googled acupuncturist that specialized in holistic health at the time. Also if you have insurance, migraines are one of the few conditions where acupuncture is (usually) an evidence-based treatment and may be covered. So it’s worth checking through your insurance first!
