If you, like me, have no problem washing your clothes, but then the clean clothes sit in laundry baskets for 3-6 business weeks, you need a Laundry Guru. This is an angelic person who comes to your house and folds and puts away your clean laundry, and maybe irons your clothes? Never having to iron your button down in a panic while running late for work? LIFE CHANGING.

The greatest/most life changing thing we do. We have three kids and once per week I wash all the clothes and a lovely person comes to my house, watches tv, and folds and puts away all of the laundry. I also buy less clothes because we only need enough to last 7 days. We live in a college town, so I typically hire a college student for $23/ hr. It takes them about 3 hours—best thing ever to spend money on!

Agree on the fewer clothes thing, too! And if you have a kiddo that’s very *particular* about which uniforms they want to wear, as mine are, not having to have morning meltdown battles bc the favorites aren’t washed is worth it’s weight in gold!

I work for a hospital so told several docs I work with I was looking for someone and they sent me a referral through one of their doctor mom Facebook groups. You can also try a job posting through something like SitterCity if you have kids, and ask all your teen/college aged friends if they know anyone!
