I made paper flowers for all of the florals at our wedding

This is one of the centerpieces I made. I made all the florals; centerpieces, bouquets, arch flowers.

I’m very crafty, and fell in love with making paper flowers.

It took so many hours!!! My wrists hurt, my hands were cramping, and I got a few hot glue burns 😅 However, it felt like an element of my wedding that I had worked really hard on so it wasn’t as fleeting. It held more meaning to me (and hopefully my guests).

Also!! I saved a lot of money. (Unless I were to charge myself an hourly wage then never mind haha)

But I enjoyed the process, and it gave me something tangible and long lasting to contribute to the day. I still have a few of the bouquets and centerpieces spread around the house and they’ve held up pretty well, so far. Going on 8 years 😍
