This artist is making some wildly other worldly stuff with paper mache and all of it looks like it belongs on a table in an architectural digest article.

Ceramics get all the love (understandably) but paper mache is underrated! It’s eco and so easy to make without special tools (i.e., an expensive kiln and wiring)

Couldnt agree more! I am in no way an artist but I like to play around with stuff for fun and I need to pull the trigger on creating something with paper mache asap!

I support that! It’s also kid friendly. A teaching artist friend recently made a recipe with powdered spackling compound (not plaster of Paris) for smoothness and I haven’t tried that yet but am curious.

Ooo love the tip. The last thing I need is a new hobby but I can’t turn down a good one!
