Hollyhock risograph art print

This is such an interesting piece because the artist sculpted the flower in clay then photographed it and printed it in this blue hue.
I desperately wanted to gift it to someone for Christmas this year but I didn’t think I knew anyone cool enough to really appreciate it.

Not sure how cool I am but I would have appreciated it! I’m a hobby potter and former photographer and I’ve never seen a process like this. So cool.

Omg well I love that you found it here! Now it’s time to experiment? Really very interesting technique.

I love your last sentence. I inevitably reach that point in holiday shopping, where I realize I’m just making a list of Cool Shit, not necessarily things my actual list of giftees would want. 😬
This is VERY cool though; I would have loved to have received it!

Totally agree, it is a grind to find stuff that is both cool and right for the people you are gifting it to!

This artist is my cousin - so cool to just see on here!
