Remember the 3-3-3 Rule

I found this guideline to be so helpful when we were bringing home our rescue pup two years ago.

It takes time for a dog to adjust to their new home and the way they act in the first few hours, days, or weeks likely doesn’t reflect how they’ll be once the stress of learning a brand new environment wears off.

Have patience and help them adjust by being consistent and calm.
