fip radio

Toby Nieboer

“Human-curated radio station from Paris with no ads, no announcements, no news. Incredibly eclectic: in the last half hour they’ve played Jimmy Cliff, Janis Joplin, Jonathan Richman, and David Bowie. My new commute soundtrack. Listen via the Radio France app.”

“(France Inter Paris, not feline infectious peritonitis!) Broadcasting (and streaming) commercial-free music and irrationally sexy station IDs since ‘71, all human-curated and 85% from indie labels. Fair warning, they also go hard on novelty Christmas music for like four months at a stretch - but that’s part of their charm. If you’re on the east coast of the US, early evening = the witching hour on”

“Thanks to my hairdresser's great taste in music and having this often in the background, FIP has become a part of my everyday. The most eclectic line-up from around the world.”
