U Beauty is unapologetically pricey, which always makes me raise an eyebrow. The brand’s billboard promise comes from its proprietary “SIREN Capsule technology,” a delivery system designed to help release actives specifically where skin is most stressed. The Super Hydrator is a plush, bouncy moisturizer with five types of hyaluronic acid, so skin stays comfortable and juicy all day. The Return Eye Concentrate is packed with peptides and marine plankton to do long-term longevity work, but they’ve also added real diamond powder for a soft-focus, light-catching finish under the eyes that looks a lot like a full night’s sleep. The Resurfacing Body Compound is a lightweight gel loaded with AHAs, salicylic acid, and enzymes for any rough patches or bumpy upper arms (ahem—KP girlies to the front). The backs of my arms are noticeably smoother already.
