Ghia’s Le Fizz is my new preferred answer to the five o’clock question of what to pour when I’m not partaking in alcohol. It’s a ready-to-go sparkling non-alcoholic aperitif built on a herbaceous, citrusy-tart, juicy base of gentian root, elderflower, orange blossom, strawberry, and a handful of teas that give it bitterness and depth. It’s a pleasant melange of sweet, dry, and tart that feels closer to a pét-nat or sparkling rosé than a sugary soda. Crucially, it isn’t cloyingly saccharine, with just five grams of naturally occurring sugar and nothing artificial. Pour it over ice with a twist of citrus, kick back, and savor. Buy it.

“Le Fizz by Ghia has been out of stock for months, but WE ARE SO BACK. I’m a sucker for bubbles — especially around the holidays — so I’m securing my supply. I’ve said it before: Ghia founder Melanie Masarin has singlehandedly elevated the entire non-alc category. LVMH, call her. Champagne is losing cultural ground, no one drinks Henny, and Ghia is right here!”
