We pay $29/month for two cell phone lines. I don’t fully understand how MVNOs work, but we switched from AT&T over 2 years ago and have zero regrets (and have saved so much $$!). No frills, no phone upgrades included, no problem.

I was going to rec this too!! We’ve used it for at least 3 years now. I laugh every time Verizon tries to win me back, because they could never match their pricing 😂

Exactly! A Verizon rep came to our door once and I basically sold *him* on US Mobile.

Haven’t had any noticeable issues. I’m mostly in cities, though. Currently in Mexico and using an eSIM, which has worked out great.

I’m no expert, but since they lease the network access from the big carriers (Verizon, AT&T, etc), they don’t pay to set those up, they spend much less on marketing and customer service, you’re not financing a phone… also, there are data limits unlike the typical unlimited phone plan, but unless you’re streaming videos or gaming on the cell network (vs on WiFi), that shouldn’t be an issue. Also, I think in environments with big crowds like music festivals or sporting events, service is probably not as good. But it’s more than good enough for me!
