The Five-Star Weekend

I moved this up the Elin H. summer reading lineup as soon as the show came out on Peacock. Happy I did. It was actually fun to have the cast in the back of my mind as I pictured each character while reading. I loved the multiple points of view and how female-driven the whole story is. Each woman comes with her own baggage, history, flaws & perspective, and by the end, you somehow find yourself rooting for all of them. There’s something relatable in each character. It’s about friendship, grief, reinvention & the complicated versions of ourselves we become in different seasons of life. Now I can watch the show on Peacock and compare the two. ☺️
