Practical/comfortable shoe request: Any recommendations out there for shoes with arch support, heel cushioning, and a generous heel drop? That aren’t running shoes? I’m just hoping there are some other folks with high arches, overpronation, and tight achilles tendons who have found the golden shoes for city life that don’t look made for marathon training. Any advice on ways to meaningfully maintain long-distance friendships that aren’t just texts and voice notes? I have some of the greatest friends in the world, but the differences in time zones is really getting in the way and I miss them all the time.
