My recipe for a version of borsch you don’t see often, a canned fish version from eastern cities of Ukraine such as Donetsk and Mariupol. I’m gonna dig up the recipe and share it here since many of us (including myself) can’t access the paywalled version.

Thank you so much, Julia! I am working on a Borsch zine. I want to show how insanely diverse this dish really is. So many different regional varieties and also examples from specific cities and villages. There’s a (fresh) fish version from Kherson as well.
