Heartily agree! When my wife and I got married we had wedding pie(s) instead of cake! (Also a cookie table)
Pie > Cake. All day.

I absolutely love that! Fruit does feel more inclusive to me. Cookie tables are super popular in Northeastern Ohio, especially in Italian American weddings!

I don't recall where we got the idea for the cookie table but when we heard about it, it was a very quick shared nod. Various friends made the cookies :) Pie and cookies (and fruit) for all!
