Andy Warhol Family Album

Capsule 98 by Randi Bergman

“I’ve been obsessed with Warhol’s circle since high school and this latest compilation of his Polaroids, most from parties and travels is best seen in person at The Whitney’s small exhibition on through October. It’s like an icon Where’s Waldo - DVF, Bianca Jagger, Yves Saint Laurent, Cecil Beaton, Paloma Picasso etc etc etc!”

“I am generally underwhelmed by Warhol’s work but I found myself surprisingly moved by this tiny exhibit which features 700+ Polaroids from one of his photo albums, taken between 1972 and 1973. Intimate and personal. On view until October!”
