I don't usually read romance novels, but when I do, it's because it's by one of my favorite cookbook authors, Julia Turshen. A queer romance in the fictional town of Sungold, NY. I read this in two beach sittings! Would be a great read any time of year, but it's prime summer reading.

I used to work in a book store and if I had a penny for every time someone said, “I don’t usually read romance” with respect to this series! (including me) They’ve managed to make romance novellas hip somehow. 💗
