Providence Athenaeum
when I saw @Grier share this I knew we would be friends. I have written many a paper here, including my senior thesis, and find this library to be the most peaceful places on earth and one of my forever safe spaces
when i have the money, i will become a high-level donor here.

“This is where I wrote all my papers in college with bottled ink and my quill pen”

“Pint sized (as most RI things are) version of an elaborate historic library that is just a total jewel box and has a lovely children’s section if that’s a consideration. Also basically over the road from the RISD Museum which is a must-visit too.”
