critical update. adopted this fellow. not positive he is a maine coon, but he does seem like a big boy for a 3 month old and has lots of maine coon features, including the personality, tail, length, and chirping
His name is Brigadier General (Ret.) Bucatini ("Buca") Biscuits Scuttlebutt
He is the most affectionate cat I've ever met. Needs to be on my face/chest kissing me constantly.

One of my college roommates a few decades ago found a random lost kitten in a bush one day and brought it back to our house. She eventually became my cat (as I was the resident Cat Person) and she was apparently all or part Maine Coon, and eventually grew into this giant ridiculous floofball.
