Holy crap, Billy Preston was incredible. You may have seen him in the Beatles “Get Back” movie - he was more or less the only non-Beatle they ever let play with them on a record. This doc covers his often sad story but I was mostly just blown away by his performances, upstaging people like George Harrison and Eric Clapton at the Concert for Bangladesh.
