Let your kid teach you stuff

I wish I had learned things like chess or piano early on so I could impart those things onto my son. And while I have a long list of interests and skills to teach him, something that’s been surprisingly ultra satisfying is having him teach me instead. It humbles me and gives me permission to be a beginner again, while building their confidence about something they know more about.

Am I skeptical he actually knows the official rules? Sometimes, but neither do I and we get to learn together.
