a cordless vacuum (and using it everyday)

Ok so cordless vacs don't work as well as corded ones, but I find it way easier to tote it around the house and actually use it daily. I don't have a particular brand to recommend (mine is a common brand that I won't name because I am mad at them because they intentionally make it so you cannot fix it if something fails) but any kind that has different attachments will do. Daily vacuums make such a difference in how clean the house looks.
