replacing the earpads on your headphones

cheaper than new headphones and easier than it seems. takes about 15 minutes and then you'll need to leave them overnight on some books.
I bought these headphones on FB marketplace in 2019 and replaced the pads in August 2022 and am doing it again now. so the replacement ones lasted four years of daily use. I linked to the ones I buy for Beats Studio 3 headphones but they are easy to find on Amazon. I haven't been able to find them elsewhere unfortunately but if you do please comment!

The one time I tried to replace the pads on my BOSE headphones was a total disaster... I guess most of the ones sold are just crap but maybe your brand is better?

oh bummer! I'm not sure honestly! I definitely bought this brand the last two times, not sure about before that. when this was recommended to me there was no specification in terms of brand.
maybe it's easier to replace them on Beats than on Bose? I've always found it a bit fiddly but overall easy and they've lasted 3-4 years.
I will say now that I'm thinking about it the other folks I know who've done this also had Beats.
