I wear a lot of jeans and t-shirts, usually accompanied by basic but classic shoes (loafers, chelsea boots). It's definitely my favorite and most authentic look, but sometimes I feel a little lacking in flair/character. What are your favorite accessories that elevate the jeans/t-shirt combo to "classic and interesting" instead of "classic and boring"?

I'm into silk scarves recently. I like them around the neck or around my ponytail to add a little chic-ness to simple outfits.

Yes! I really love silk scarves - though I often feel like I look like a boy scout and/or a flight attendant. I have yet to master the casual chic! Maybe I just need to try less hard? tips?

Don't overthink it! I don't think it leans either of those with a tee and jeans. But there are a lot of different ties, so you could experiment with a style that you like. (plus flight attendants are chic imo)
