A rugged watch (like my Garmin Instinct 2X solar)

This watch has more features than I will use BUT it is not a smartphone on my wrist duplicating distractions. I can bash it off door frames daily, I can check the barometric or moon phase. It will track my workouts, guide me through the woods, and charge using the sun. Just looking at it makes me want to start a new mission.
