OmniFocus (app)

This is the master task and project management system for me. I have to use a digital organizing system because I will misplace paper planners. This app lives on my laptop and also syncs with my phone.

Each task must be assigned to a project, given a context (where, how, and who to help execute the task), and assigned a due date.

This level of granularity helps to shift me out of vagueness and to understand precisely what needs to get done to move a project forward.

It is the depot where all tasks live. It is the placeholder for tasks that will need to get done in the future. You can defer future tasks to activate later.

I have used this app for the past 14 years and the system works when I follow it properly!
