The best travel charging cable you can get

I am obsessed with trying new kinds of phone chargers, and I have trialed dozens: Top-spec products from Anker. (They are excellent.) $2.50 chargers from the dollar store. (They sometimes work.) Braided cables, metal cables, reinforced ones; long cables, short cables, ultra-short cables, and retractables. And multi-chargers. Oh, multi-chargers.

The Agvee 4-in-1 Coiled Braided Multi-Charger is the winner. Why?

-It’s a multi-charger on both ends. One end has both a USB-C and an iPhone lightning connector; the other end lets you choose between USB-C and USB-A (=“regular” USB). They also make a 5-in-1 version with Micro USB. In other words, this single cable lets you plug anything into anything.

-It’s braided and feels like a paracord. This makes for an ultra-resilient, strong, and high-quality cable that is also just nicer to use.

-The form factor is a springy, stretchy coil, like a tiny Slinky. It’s so cool and honestly so much fun.

-It’s retractable (in a sense), making it perfect for travel. It also lets you choose a length according to your daily needs, so you never have a charger that’s too long or too short.

-However, unlike every other retractable charger on the market, this one is available in lengths extending up to 9ft. (It’s also available in an ultra-compact 3ft length, as well as an in-between 5-foot option. The comfortable and versatile 5-footer is the one I use.)
