Asking your hometown friends to pick you up from the airport/bus station as a way to hang out when you’re not in town long

Why pay for a Lyft or Uber when you can have a quick hangout with someone you wouldn’t have gotten to see that trip??

I’m always afraid of inconveniencing someone but my friends always get so excited to spend any amount of time with me when I ask so I am positively reinforced to do this now.
