A Costco Membership (specifically an Executive one if you live pretty close to one)

So I live within 20 minutes of three different Costcos. So I go a lot. Also, I'm a two-person household, but we often get things to split with friends and neighbors on top of things for ourselves.

The executive hours alone are worth the executive membership, but the 2% cash back really is great if you go to Costco often. I go weekly and spread out what I need across different trips and treat it like a regular grocery store.

And don't get me started on the deals at the pharmacy!! I had a time when I didn't have insurance, and the member discounts at the pharmacy were better than insurance has ever covered for me.

What are "Executive Hours?"

I’m so glad you asked haha. They are hours that are the first hour of each day where Costco is open only to executive members so it’s significantly less people. And I believe it is technically open “early” at that point to executive members because our Costco displays the regular hours on google where everyone is allowed so if you need to know your executive member hours, you have to check on the wall where the hours are displayedat your Costco. But in my experience, it is the hour before “open” at all Costcos

Oooo neat, I did not know about this. We do have an "executive membership," but rarely go to CostCo ... I'll have to ask if the store my wife goes to offers this. Thanks for the tip.

We go very often haha my husband really enjoys it, and I like seeing him excited about it. So Costco is a couples activity for us sometimes
