I’m starting a book club with a friend. What are some best practices of book clubs you have been a part of? I want the priya Parker/Art of gathering kind of ideas - rules or ideas that feel specific and special! From how books are selected to how the time together is spent. Thanks!!

I run an online book club and two things I suggest are: (1) if someone wants to recommend a book, they have to have actually read it and (2) have a length you won’t go over - but base it on the length of the audiobook rather than number of pages because fonts and page layout can be so deceiving!
