As someone who never naturally enjoyed cooking & has an ADHD brain, I’ve learned over time how to maximize my budget via takeout.
I shop restaurants like the fresh made grocery aisle and get creative with building my cart for multiple meals. Some of my favorites include: kale/grain bowls for lunch, fresh fruit or hummus as a snack, Thai curry with extra chicken or pasta with protein for dinner. I just transfer over to Tupperware as needed and I’m good to go. Took some trial and error to find local spots with large enough portion sizes/broader menus, but now I have multiple options in my rotation.
I’m an Uber One member so I tend to mainly use Uber Eats. Between no delivery fees and maximizing promo codes, this saves me energy & often money compared to homemade meals for a party of 1. Plus, if you live in a city it’s a great way to eat through the local cuisines!
