What are your all-time non-fiction selections? I'm weary of memoirs but maybe I'm missing out on a great one??? I love Patrick Radden Keefe and am not afraid of a 600+ page Guns of August-type moment either, please and thank you.

I first read this book in an American history class in college, and it has stayed with me ever since. It follows the life of Benjamin Franklin’s sister through a lifetime of her correspondence. It turns out she was probably as smart as him, and the book does a great job juxtaposing her life with his.
