For the first few nights after I lost my Oskee, the only thing I could do was cry. He’d slept next to me for over 15 years and I had to let it out. It felt suffocating to cry inside while my husband slept (or tried to), and I didn’t know where to be, so I sat out back in a chair with an inside blanket wrapped around me in my pajamas and cried at the stars. It was November and the Pleiades were visible so I locked onto them and imagined my boy as a star like the Greek gods.
I am so sorry for your loss.
