If you’re in an area with lots of other outdoors folk, they may be using that lake or stream as a water source. If there aren’t many inlets to your lake or the river is low that time of year, and everyone pees in it, the uric acid can build up and harm our fishes and wildlife ecosystems!
Bury your shit deep enough. Know if you should bury your TP or pack it out—it depends on where you are!

do it in a river, do it on the side of the trail, do it in your backyard. pop a squat if you’re a lady like me, don’t let anyone try to tell you that you need a special product to urinate in the great outdoors (don’t piss me off “she wee”). one of life’s simplest pleasures.
