Going to Costco during your city’s NFL game
I don’t care about football. A lot of people in the KC METRO do, so hitting up Costco or the grocery store while the Chiefs <insert your city’s team name> game is on is ideal.

Some compound interest: our neighborhood Tom Thumb gives a 10% discount on your cart when you wear a jersey on Sunday to get groceries.
and park (towards the back) by the cart corral. i swear this saves you time and pain.
I've done this a couple times and I love making knowing eye contact with the handful of other shoppers that are there.
Okay, this is my strategy too, and I thought we were so sneaky for going to Costco last Sunday during not only the Eagles game, but also a Phillies game, and it was surprisingly PACKED *and* out of Spindrift! I'm still baffled.
100% -- also would like to add, Super Bowl Sunday is hands down the best time to go to IKEA.
