Francis Picabia - Aquarius Sun, Capricorn Moon, Aquarius Rising

Picabia was as eccentric, experimental and rebellious as any Aquarian artist should be, but the most Aquarius thing about him is that he jumped from movement to movement, trend to trend, making work influenced by everything that never fully belonged. An outsider in the mix, unique unto himself. Even he said “If you want to have clean ideas, change them like shirts.” I personally love his work because even if it shape-shifts, it all starts to say more about the social psyche of the time than any one movement.
