Speaking of dandies. . .Venus loves silk, satin, velvet and glitter. This show, like Marty himself, is all scarves, hair and cowboy rhinestone suits. He seems to have played with everyone in Nashville. Probably because he's such a likable Libra to harmonize with! His signature opener is "Somebody say howdy to me!" and in my head I say it every time I enter a room.

This show washes over me like a cool, nostalgic country stream. It's always on at my Dad's house. I grew up in the bible belt with eccentric hippie parents who didn't go to church, but my Dad (a Libra Moon & Taurus Rising) would play music with anyone. Venus rules music, and music is the great unifier above all.

The harmonies on this song alone will make you misty. . .
