This is an invaluable tool for comparing the many swatches of paint you’ve collected from the internet and objectively understanding their differences sans fancy lighting and filters.
it’s FREE and can actually teach you a lot about color theory in the process! understand the hue, saturation, and lightness of the swatches you’re considering. the more shades you compare, the more you’ll understand these terms!
you can see how the paint will look depending on the direction your room faces, see real life paint photos, and see how the the color will change based on the time of day. none of this should replace trying a swatch in your actual room, but it can cull shades that looked good on instagram but won’t work in your space— and help point you in the direction of ones that will.

“Yes! Used this so much during our home reno. Also great to put trim and wall colors next to each other to make sure they pull the right undertones. And to make sure all your paint colors talk to each other throughout the house.”
