Articles of Interest is an amazing podcast about the history of fashion and material culture writ large. I recommend starting with the American Ivy season which dissects “preppiness” (J crew, brooks brothers etc.) and all of the ways it is not a product of WASPs at all (go figure). Perfect for all my former american studies majors out there ✊
