Past lives
When my wife and I finished this, we looked at each other and said, “that was perfect.” No notes.
Tender and melancholic story of what could have been.

“My favorite scene: Nora Moon and her husband are lying on the bed, ARTHUR: «You dream in a language I can't understand.» NORA: «You want to understand me when I'm dreaming?»”

“This made me ugly cry in the theater, and I didn’t even try to fight it. Made me feel nostalgia + grief for all the past, current, future versions of me that will never get to exist and all the people I’ll never get to love. While of course creating the feeling of love for the version that does exist. Beautiful movie 😭”
