I had this book as a child and love it even more now that I'm reading it to my own child. "Go to far away places, live by the sea, and do something to make the world more beautiful" - truly, is there better advice for how to have a well lived life?

I also love the elevation of a single, child free woman who ages to main character status in a children's book. Let's give these kids a diversity of role models for how to be a happy grown up.
