Puma Speedcat Ballets

Did I think ballerina sneakers would be a fad, just as they were years ago? Yes. Did these still end up becoming my most-worn shoes of the year? Yes. Do I see them around as often as I thought I would? Surprisingly, no. I can count on two hands how many times I've actually seen these Pumas in the wild over the past year. (Turns out social media doesn't always reflect real life!)

I got the silver pair as a Christmas gift, and I did not expect how comfortable these shoes would be. I saw a lot of people online saying otherwise, but maybe I got lucky with my feet shape or something...? My feet only get achy towards the end of a long walking day, but if I'm anticipating a full day of walking, I wear them with socks and I find they stay comfortable much longer. (The strappy design really pops with black socks!)

I'm debating getting another pair in another color, but I'm also looking around as other styles from other brands have been catching my eye, like the Asics Gel-DS and the Adidas Jennie Superstar SQ. I don't really care if they stop being trendy, I love being able to wear girly little shoes I can actually do walkathons in.
