Albo: The cure to forgetting saved spots!

This is one of my favorite discoveries of the year. I'm someone who likes to take note of new or interesting cafés, restaurants, travel destinations, hotels, books... You name it, I'll be saving them in the hopes of coming back to them when I'm in the area someday. Unfortunately, it's very easy for me to forget that they're even saved. Enter Albo.

There are a lot of other apps on the market that act as a one-stop shop for saved Reels, TikToks, photo posts, article links, and more, but there are a few features I've only seen Albo do well that have really helped me actually try new places. The first feature is that they let you search through everything you've ever saved (if you pay for premium, it syncs your old saved posts on other apps). The second is the map page, on which I've found some cool little restos that I'd never seen on Instagram or Google or anything before. The third is how you don't need to manually save things (you can if you want to); you just have to add the "Save to Albo" button on your share menu and you can save directly from the app you're currently on.

And the last and (in my opinion) the best one: the "Saved Nearby" widget! It uses your current location, and it tells you what your nearest saved place is. It is so incredibly handy. I placed the widget on my lock screen, and it's so nice to be reminded of these spots when I'm actually in the area!
