Incredible and gripping and moving and hard to put down. A reimagining of Huck Finn from Jim’s perspective is an intense reminder of the power of language and narrative. What a beautiful and powerful book. Should be required reading for all high school English classes and maybe for all Americans.

This book taught me the power of language and what it can do depending how and when it’s used. Perspectives shift depending on who it’s being used by. Read this.
