Pie from Chainsaw
Pick up a pie or stop in and treat a friend to a slice! Karla Subero Pittol is the chef behind Chainsaw, a culinary project with a new brick and mortar storefront in Melrose Hill. They're serving the best apple pie I have ever had in my life, along with arepas, coffee, and an array of frozen desserts that look very exciting. The space is inviting, the people are warm and kind, everything I've had so far is delicious.

“Wow, I was blown away by this place for lunch. Granted the whole fish special was outstanding but I loved the feel and vibe of this place too.Everyone is so welcoming and happy here and it is palpable. I love the milk crate tables and the casualness of it all with great food. My new fave place for lunch!”
