Black Cake: A Novel (Charmaine Wilkerson)

Purposely made no plans after work today so I could finish this. A profound and layered story of family, identity, migration, and what it means to be truly known. Gripping and moving from front to back, I read it in two days and now I want black cake.Thank you, @Anja Tyson !
