a ritual checklist

I learned that ER staff have a checklist to ID heart attacks, and astronauts have a thousand checklist. It frees the mind for other things. As i leave the apiary, i always have to say

Did i get my sunglasses off the electric fence battery and turn it on?

Are all the covers and important rocks back on the beehives?

Did I put the smoker in its metal can?

Is my hive tool in its bucket?

Are there any queen bees in my pocket?
