My favorite big kids book

Recommended by Lisa w

This is my favorite kid-friendly chapter book. I read it with B when he was 5 - it was endearing and hilarious. We still quote it years later…did the earth just shift? Must’ve been Johannes.

“Yes yes yes! I cannot stop talking about how delightful this book is, and Ethan Hawke is just the perfect narrator!”

“The book has a wooden cover and the audiobook is read by Ethan Hawke (he does all the voices and it is charming!) and the story itself is a pure delight!”
