Watching your cat watch birds

Fun for the whole family (me and my cat). The mourning doves seem to be having fun with it too? They keep coming back. I do feel bad that she can’t go outside, but I keep explaining to her that she’s an invasive species.

I tried to attract birds to my third floor apartment balcony by sprinkling some sunflower seeds in a bowl & placing them in one of the big pot plants. I noticed each day some were gone so I kept topping them up. I remember thinking it was cute how much one of my cats wanted to go outside & then I realised.... she had discovered the seeds & was snacking on them herself & there were never any birds 🫠
