My mother is kind of the queen of dried fruit (from California, very intense about it), and she has been ordering her dried cherries from Cherry Republic ever since visiting me in college over 10 years ago. They also have bonkers good sour gummy cherries (no gelatin). Michigan knows cherries.

There’s a Park Ranger in Sleeping Bear Dunes that rides the bike trails and rewards kids who are following all the bike rules by giving them a coupon for a free ice cream at Cherry Republic in nearby Glen Arbor.
